“My mission is to share the ancient art of yoga in a welcoming way for students of all ages and abilities. I fell in love with my first yoga class when I discovered that yoga gave me an opportunity to “work-out” in a physical way; but, it also included a “work-in”. I became stronger not just in my body, but my mind and spirit were enriched! The practice of Yoga has illuminated my life. I’m passionate about shining a light outward thru this practice to help people come home to themselves.”
Michelle is a 200- and 300-hour ERYT Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher. Michelle’s classes generally follow the Jivamukti style developed by Sharon Gannon and David Life. Designed to include the eight limbs of yoga, classes feature a well-rounded asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and mantra. She often shares wisdom and stories from yogic texts. Michelle is inspired to include these elements, giving variety to her classes and students can expect both a physical and devotional practice that is friendly, upbeat and playful.
In her free time, you can find Michelle in nature, hiking among the mountains and trees and playing with her dog, a yellow lab named Gypsy.
